About Us.

Empowering autism families

Understanding, engaging & celebrating the strengths, interests & aspirations of people on the autism spectrum

Our Mission

Our mission is to be a reliable resource for parents and help create a social community for children on the Autism Spectrum. Our goal is to help families embrace autism and provide them a myriad of information, access to experts in the field, and a focus on wellness, ensuring parents and caregivers can take care of themselves as well throughout their journey of helping and advocating for their children.

We pride ourselves to be an inclusive organization, actively reaching out to people with different abilities and seek to understand and appreciate their differences, while fostering a sense of belonging.

Our Vision.

What makes us different?

We envision Embracing Autism, Inc. to be an organization that fosters inclusivity for all children on the spectrum. We hope that parents who just found out their child’s
diagnosis and those who are navigating their way through it can both find peace
knowing our organization will do everything to help parents and children.

Our vision is to create a community for parents and children to continuously learn and
break the stigma to what autism is. There will be monthly events hosted by the Board of
Directors and panelists who are experts in their fields of Occupational Therapy, Speech
Language Pathology, Physical Therapy, ABA and much more. Classes will be hosted by
professionals who will counsel parents and provide hands-on experience for children to
socialize and improve in areas that are difficult for them.

Parents will have options to take care of their mind and body through talk therapy,
marital counseling, fitness classes and access to experts in the field. Children with
sensory issues will be stimulated through play and introduced to new activities as well
as receive related services at our center.

Through donations, our goal is to grow our services and open up centers in New York
which would be a place where parents, children and providers can network with each
other and receive all of the services mentioned above, while continuing to create a
community of understanding and inclusion.

How can we help ?

We provide information, intervention and a range of services to meet the needs of people on the spectrum and their families.
